Koichi Toyama

Koichi Toyama (遠山紘一) is a Japanese healer, teacher, and fermentation artisan based in Neishuangxi, next to Yangmingshan National Park in Taipei, Taiwan.

Creator of Somatic Balancing™ (2007) and Quantum Resonance Integration™ (QRI), Koichi has been developing original healing modalities for over 15 years, supporting people to return to their natural state of balance in body, mind, and consciousness.

In addition to healing sessions and classes in Japanese, English, and Traditional Chinese, Koichi also handcrafts koji-based fermented drinks such as germinated brown rice amazake, and teaches fermentation workshops.

Born in the countryside of Kumamoto, Japan, Koichi has lived in several countries and offers his work to people from diverse cultures. Vegan. Father of a beautiful daughter, and husband to a loving wife.
